Ministry Schools, Kenya
In our Ministry Schools, we have trained many pastors, teachers and leaders free of charge, through our Apostolic Training Schools. The schools are open to all churches and denominations and to men and women who want to serve God in their churches and communities. On our last trip to Kenya in August 2016, we gave out 53 plus certificates to candidates who had completed our courses. In the past, Schools have been opened and run in Migori, Kenya, Uganda, Bongoma, and India.
The Ministry Schools began approximately 5 years ago when we were approached to begin a bible college / ministry school for leaders and Pastors in Kenya and other parts of Africa, who have not received any formal training in ministry and who wanted to learn the theory and have a hands-on, practical approach in learning how to minister. We began writing the training manuals and the schools began.
The training courses in the Ministry Schools consists of: Solid Foundations (Christian doctrines & marriage), The Kingdom (Principles & Practice), Opening up the Gospels (a comparative study of the four gospels), Children's Ministry, Pastors and Teachers, Early Church Practice, Missions, Apostolic Foundations, Healing & Wholeness, Warfare for Warriors (Spiritual Warfare), Prophetic Training Ground, and Dreams & Visions. We will be introducing some more Biblical studies in the near future.
As well as study, students will undertake practical ministry experience as part of the course (if they are not already engaged in ministry). The Training Schools curriculum is currently undergoing an accreditation process with college based in the UK.
Currently we have 4 Ministry Schools open and operating in Masaba, Migori, Bware, and Godjope areas (near Migori) in Kenya. New schools may be formed anywhere in Africa where there is an interest in training leaders.
